Pagani Huayra polished aluminum car keychain. Casting aluminum cars in such a small scale (1:87 scale around 2 or 5.1cm) can be challenging when it comes to showcasing the small details of the cars. In order to produce the accurate contour of the car that is true to scale, the car (not including the keychain) is designed with the construction of 19 components despite its small scale. All the windscreens and side windows are actually tiny chrome plated plastic parts attached individually to the main body. This is done to give the realistic and true look of what the windscreens and windows would look like on the real car and it eliminates any surface distortions. The aluminum body is carefully polished by hand to a glossy finish and it is not coated with any protective layer. This is done purposely so that minor scratches, if any, can easily be buffed away using metal polishing compound when the object is used as a keychain and in constant contacts with hard objects like metal keys and coins. After polishing, the product will look like new again.
