This is the 1961 Austin Healey Sprite Spider Open Green in 1:18 scale by Cult Models.

The 1961 Austin-Healey Sprite Mark II marked a significant evolution from its predecessor, the 'Frogeye' Sprite. Introduced in May 1961, the Mark II featured a completely revamped body design, transitioning from the distinctive 'Frogeye' headlights to a more conventional placement in the wings, flanking a full-width grille. This redesign also included an opening boot lid and squared-off rear wheel arches, enhancing both aesthetics and practicality. Under the hood, it retained the 948cc A-Series inline-four engine, now equipped with larger twin 1¼ inch SU carburetors, producing 46.5 horsepower. This powerplant, combined with a close-ratio four-speed manual gearbox, offered spirited performance for its class. The Sprite's modern unibody construction contributed to its precise handling, making it a popular choice among driving enthusiasts.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
