This is the Alfa Romeo F1 #2 1978 Sweden GP John Watson in 1:18 scale by GP Replicas.

The Alfa Romeo–powered Brabham BT46B No. 2, driven by John Watson, competed at the 1978 Swedish Grand Prix, famous for introducing the revolutionary “fan car.” Watson, a smooth and consistent driver known for his technical understanding, supported teammate Niki Lauda in showcasing the car’s remarkable downforce system, which used a rear-mounted fan to suck the car to the track. This race was unique because the BT46B’s innovation dominated the event—Lauda won and Watson finished 6th—but the car was immediately withdrawn afterward due to controversy over its legality, making it one of Formula 1’s most infamous one-race wonders.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
