This is the Jaguar C-Type Longtail Le Mans 24h 1952 Car #18 T. Rolt - D. Hamilton in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.

The 1952 Jaguar C-Type Longtail, driven by Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton as Car #18, competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with high expectations. This race was unique due to Jaguar’s ambitious aerodynamic modifications, featuring a longtail body for increased top speed, but the design ultimately led to overheating issues, forcing multiple retirements, including Car #18. Tony Rolt, a decorated WWII hero and skilled endurance racer, later became a key figure in motorsport engineering. His co-driver, Duncan Hamilton, was known for his fearless, aggressive driving, later winning Le Mans in 1953. The 1952 race was also notable for its challenging weather conditions and the dominance of Mercedes-Benz, making it a pivotal moment in Jaguar’s endurance racing development.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
