This is the Mclaren MP4/1C 1983 USA GP Niki Lauda Car #8 in 1:18 scale by Tecnomodel.

At the 1983 United States Grand Prix West in Long Beach, Niki Lauda made a memorable impact driving the McLaren MP4/1C, car #8, in just his third race since coming out of retirement. Starting 23rd on the grid, right alongside his teammate John Watson, Lauda executed a masterful drive to finish second—completing an astonishing 1-2 finish for McLaren after starting from the very back. This race was especially unique as it showcased both Lauda’s enduring skill and the performance potential of the MP4/1C, with its pioneering carbon fiber monocoque chassis. The event marked one of the greatest comeback drives in F1 history and proved Lauda was still a formidable force on the grid.

This model is hand painted and polished to a beautiful finish and has a sealed body. Resin models are
exceptionally accurate of scale, shape and detail. Each model is created using a variety of production
processes, to achieve this precision. They are produced using a composite material referred to in the
industry as “resin”. Photo etched parts, die-cutting, tampo printing and waterslide decals are often used
for the most authentic replication.
